Brief info

Originally hailing from the southern city of Tilburg, Kristiaan has called Amsterdam his home for over 15 years now. His passion for electronic music has been driven by the rich scene in Amsterdam. Particularly the eclectic sound – where any style goes as long as it flows - championed at venues like Trouw, De School and Dekmantel Festival fueled his passion for dance music and has shaped his ongoing desire to discover new music.

He has a passion for digging and blending together sounds spanning over several decades, every corner of the world and all subgenres of house, techno, electro & disco. Whether it’s soulful and uplifting vibes for a sunny afternoon, or dark and melancholic tunes that would fit a dark and sweaty basement. Of late his sound has increasingly moved towards 80s & 90s inspired electro and progressive house & progressive trance.

AMW stands for Amsterdam’s Most Wanted, our nickname is the big red machine. We are an online radio station, an international music platform that is community driven.


Over the years, we have grown into an exponent that is listened to in more than 150 countries. Supporting talent and building strong ties with local communities throughout the Netherlands and abroad are core activities.

AMW broadcasts live DJ sets on a daily basis for its listeners. We provide an international platform for (upcoming) artists in a premium studio which is located in a monument.
