Brief info

David Baron was born in Haarlem and has lived in Amsterdam ever since 1985.
With his 30+ years’ experience in 2D/3D design and production, along with an education in design, and project management, David has worked on the development of large visual communication campaigns for well-known brands.

His knowledge of using digital visual workflows and compositing print and motion graphics are always on his daily menu.

“I am driven to create the images that emerge from my fantasy. Listening, mostly to futuristic, industrial or dub music, I have always imagined non existing worlds that I think deserve to be visualized. Being involved with AMW gave me the platform to put my visual creations out into the music and dance scene. AMW’s rebel mindset represents very much the Do-It-Yourself spirit that i was accustomed to growing up”

Together with his partner Jordanah, they form the VJ duo Retinal.Rupture.Visuals

AMW stands for Amsterdam’s Most Wanted, our nickname is the big red machine. We are an online radio station, an international music platform that is community driven.


Over the years, we have grown into an exponent that is listened to in more than 150 countries. Supporting talent and building strong ties with local communities throughout the Netherlands and abroad are core activities.

AMW broadcasts live DJ sets on a daily basis for its listeners. We provide an international platform for (upcoming) artists in a premium studio which is located in a monument.
