Techno – AMW.FM

Amsterdam based DJ and upcomming producer REAUXELL has been breathing music since the first day of his life. As a passionate music lover, he has a strong preference for electronic music. As a young boy he grew up in Amsterdam and always wanted to show the latest music to his friends. With his cassette tapes as his tools, he was ready to operate the REC and PLAY buttons, so he could record the so-called "Import" music via the local Amsterdam radio stations. In addition to playing his favorite music, REAUXELL is also one of the Hosts/resident DJ at Radio show Triple R Tuesday at AMW.FM, and he also successfully launched the KOLOSSEUM Festival in 2019 together with his co-founders. As a DJ you can describe REAUXELL as an enthusiast, TECHNO has his preference but Deep Tech, AFRO, Tech House/Slapfunk are also often found in his playlists. His love for music does not stop with playing music, producing music is also one of his qualities.

In 1988 Dimitri obtains his first residency at club Richter in Amsterdam and starts spinning at the legendary RoXY. He is one of the first DJs to mix a house record with breakbeats or drum ‘n bass: not only mixing those two records together by tempo and rhythm but also just by melody or tune/pitch, creating real-time compositions, which was groundbreaking at that time. By 1991 he spins at all the major (warehouse) parties in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy. He releases his first record and starts his own label Be.S.T. (Beautiful Soul Techno). From 1992 onwards he continues to take over the club world with gigs from Tokyo to Australia, Paris to Peru and residences at Twilo in New York and Ibiza. He starts his famous ‘Hi-Tech Soul Movement’ club night in RoXY on Thursday nights. Dimitri takes a 3-year sabbatical in 2007 (after playing non-stop for 23 years), trading the club scene for life on a farm and voluntary work with children with learning disabilities. In 2010, he returns with a residency at Club Trouw in Amsterdam, one of the best dance venues in Europe. In 2013, he suffers from a life-threatening bacterial infection, but is back at the decks at Club Trouw in only 5 months, proving that music has the power to heal, one of his strong inner beliefs. Today Dimitri still plays in clubs and at festivals all over Europe. At Thuishaven, the number one venue in Amsterdam, Dimitri finds his new residency for his famous 10 hrs DJ sets. As a producer, Dimitri is always working on new music, his own typical Hi-Tech Soul sound. He releases on labels like Planet E-communications, KMS Records and Metrohm.

Growing up going to the first raves in the ‘90s and listening to tapes with Chicago house and Detroit techno resulted in a big love for dance music that’s still present up until today. Always looking for cool tracks, listening for nights in a row and playing music for friends when two years ago the time came to step out of the living room and to take place behind the desks for a bigger audience. My style can best be described as warm, deep, melodic and always based on an elegant groove. In my sets, I love to create a flow and generate a vibe of energy and unity.

Randy Knobs is an electronic music enthusiast by heart. Besides the fact that he is a resident DJ for the Amsterdam based East Techno Collective, one of the hosts of Triple R Tuesday on, he also kicked off the annual Kolosseum Festival in the woods of Almere this year. As a DJ, his signature is high energy techno with a constant drive and a lot of percussions. Recently he started exploring the more laid back side of techno: Deep, melodic and minimalistic with Afro influences. With this broad range of music, Randy Knobs takes you on a journey where you will dance, completely lose yourself in euphoria and finally end up stomping your feet on the ground with a big smile on your face. As a producer, Randy Knobs gets his inspiration from jazz music. He tries to incorporate improvisation and rare one-shot sounds in both his music and DJ sets. Kolosseum Festival, Club NL, Panama, De CLUB and diverse boat parties on the canals of Amsterdam are just a few places where Randy Knobs laid down his deep and driving sounds onto the crowd.

BIO DJ MINI It has been over 25 years since I started mixing. As a 14-year-old boy I came in contact with House. If I still remember well there was a big tent somewhere in Sloterdijk (I really forgot the name of the party). I could sneak under the tent and before I knew it I was going to get out of my roof on the dance floor on the Acid sounds and heavy basses. I already knew right then, I wanted to be a DJ. It wasn't long before I was in the MultiGroove, Mazzo, Jan van Galen and wherever I could be to stand by the DJ boat and watch DJs like Jeroen Flamman, Gino, Dano, Pavo, Coldfusion, Lewis, Dana, Bass-D & Buzz-Fuzz turn the tent upside down. I quickly became friends with Dano, Jeroen Flamman and have more or less gotten the basics of mixing. Together with Lewis Bos & Martijn Loot I started mixing and producing, Lewis had a 303 and together with Martijn I built my first X86 PC, I believe it was a Pentium Pro with 4 GB HDD 2GB memory and a Creative Soundblaster Gold soundcard, the moment that we could send WAV to MIDI via Creative Vienna SoundFont. With applications such as Cubase VST, Rebirth and Reason we went completely crazy. Dano then had a radio program Grooveyard and passed it on to Lewis Bos. He asked me if I wanted to be his sidekick. My first Gig certainly took place at Radio The Undersound on 88.1 FM. After that, it all went fast. I got to know an incredible number of DJs and was regularly found in the record store on the seafront at Outland Record or at JP @ GrooveConnection and of course at all parties. Styles: Started with the Hip Hop breakbeats, Acid which quickly became Oldschool and has grown to Early, Hardcore and Hardstyle. But like any DJ ... If you can turn you can turn everything and the style doesn't matter. I love to play nice techno, Psy or EDM set every now and then. The style that suits me best and where I am immediately recognized is Oldschool and I mean the period of 89 - 92. Gigs: In recent years I have been at various parties and festivals. From Ground Zero to Mindcontroller from "Multigroove" to Free Festival. Together with Patrick den Dulk (aka Coldfusion & Ted Scheffer) we made a comeback with The Thundergods from Asgard in 2016. We were featured at Hellraiser, Hellbound, Pandamonium and of course at the "Multigroove" festivals that year BIO DJ JULIAN With Spanish roots but raised in the Netherlands, Julian joined the illegal rave scene of Amsterdam in the early 1990s and started performing as a DJ in 1994. He played clubs like the infamous Fun Factory, Club 114, the Megafestatie and was an often seen guest DJ for ID&T. His repertoire ranges from Oldskool, Acid, Happy Hardcore to Techno. When house turned to Hardcore Gabber, Julian turned to smaller settings, private parties and continued to perform in small clubs as a DJ, staying true to his love for early house music.
